OPT IN FOR TEXT MESSENGING ALERTS

Most Hawaii State Department of Education (HIDOE) schools began formally transitioning this week to a SchoolMessenger text-messaging system. As part of this transition, SchoolMessenger sent an automated text message Monday morning from 67587 to HIDOE parents. FEDERAL SURVEY CARDS - PLEASE RETURN

On Wednesday, September 5, 2018, Hawaii public schools will send home a U.S. Department of Education Federal Survey Form for parents to complete and return with your child to school. Why is this important? Completed survey cards allow the State of Hawaii to submit an application for a partial reimbursement for the costs to educate federally connected children. Impact Aid is added to the State of Hawaii general fund appropriations to support all public school students. Click headline for informational flyer.

PHOTO PACKAGES DISTRIBUTED THIS WEEK

Students who ordered photo packages when they took their school photos on July 25 or 26 will be bringing those packages home this week. Please ask your son or daughter for his/her package. Students who took photos but did not order packages should be bringing home an order form giving parents another chance to purchase a package. If your son or daughter did not take a photo with Portraits of Hawaii on one of these days, he/she will not have a photo in the yearbook.
