Principals Message August 2018

Aloha Moanalua Middle School Ohana:

Welcome back to the 2018-2019 school year.  I hope everyone had a relaxing and restful summer vacation and had the opportunity to spend more time with family, friends, and loved ones.  I am Mr. Wayne Guevara a proud Moanalua High alumnus, and am very proud to serve you as your Principal.

This years theme is, “Making Connections, with Every Student, with Every Opportunity, Everytime”.  I believe that as a Tribes Community we need to establish those connections and build those relationships with all of our students and allow them every opportunity to perform their learnings as they reach their full potentials.

Our hardworking and dedicated staff are ready to engage your child in authentic and enriching moments of learning as we prepare them for the next level, high school.

Some say that the “Middle School Years” are those most difficult years of your child’s education journey.  However, through our researched based middle school concepts, we turn these tough years into the most innovative and rewarding opportunities for your child.

I still ask of your support and partnerships throughout the year, to ensure your child’s success at Moanalua Middle School.  It truly, “Takes a Village” to raise our children.

I look forward to meeting with you at one of our many school-wide events.  And I thank you in advance for your unconditional support.

Sincerely,

Mr. Wayne Guevara

Proud Principal of Moanalua Middle School
