Remember doing homework is important for practice and mastering the skills. When students turn it in they need to make sure they understand the process. It doesn't matter if they have the right answer when they don't know how to explain how they got there.

 

FYI: My grades are logged in JupiterEd as "points" So a 3 (Proficient) out of 4 is a 75%. In a traditional grading scale that would be a C. However since I do not give 3.5 or 3.9's out, if you are proficient in the benchmarks your average would be 75%. This is more than average. So below is my adjusted grading scale. The percentage listed is the lowest percent for the respective grade.

 

87% - A

72% - B

50% - C

35% - D
